War Horse

December 30, 2011

Hello everyone and thank you for coming to The D-Dan Reviews. I know it’s been a while but today I am doing a review on a special book that’s now a major motion picture called War Horse. This book is about a horse named Joey, who at a young age was separated from his beloved owner, Albert, because of  World War 2 and goes through a series of adventures trying to get him back.

In the beginning (before I got this book) I thought the book was going to be a bit boring. Man was I wrong! If this book is boring to anyone, then it must take a whole lot of effort to get that person excited. I was literally hooked every second. The adventures that Joey took were so  exciting and it flowed along so nicely which is what I really liked.

The flow of this book had to be the best thing. There was so much chaos and so much excitement with Joey’s roller coaster life, but some how the author combined it all together and made it connect as nice as a clean river. That was what made the book so easy to read.

The other thing that really got me interested was the fact that the book was narrated by the horse Joey. All of his feelings and actions were believable because everything he thought or did was what a horse would do. For example, when a horse here’s a loud noise it get’s spooked, correct? Well that’s exactly what Joey would do and he’d do it by telling us what was going on in his head which made it all the better.

I really liked this book and I suggest that you read it. The movie is out so I’ll be seeing it and doing a review on it to. All in all I’d give this movie a NUCLEAR!  Also sign up for Blue Host.com by clicking my affiliate link on the side. You know, in case you want your own website too.
