Hello everyone and welcome to The D-Dan Reviews. Today I will be doing a very awesome review on the movie Chronicle. This movie was definitely amazing. It’s about how three high school friends gain superpowers after making an incredible discovery. Soon though, they find that with great power comes great responsibility and their bond is tested as they embrace their darker sides.
Now doesn’t that just sound great? Well if it doesn’t to you, it did to me, and I was definitely intrigued. First things first though, let’s talk about the acting. The acting in this movie shows that there is definitely hope for this generation of actors. It wasn’t fluffed up and it was truthful. The acting was so lively and really surprising to me. I thought the acting was going to have cheesy super hero lines and I was going to have remind myself this wasn’t Saturday morning cartoons. The one thing I was looking for in the acting though was the emotion of the flying. That, my friends, was perfect and I was so happy I wanted to scream, thank you!

Now, let’s talk about the effects. I have no idea where to began other than to say they were totally awesome. The effects in this movie can get a person off their feet and moving. I mean they were so real and I was actually wondering if this was a found footage but they were trying to keep it on the down low.
I felt the story was amazing. The choices they had to make as a person with powers interfering with the choices they have to make as a person who cares was phenomenal. But for some strange reason the movie just felt a little disappointing. I don’t know why because it was really good. Maybe it was the ending. How about you see it and judge.

The only real problem I had with the movie is the shaky, amateur camera style of shooting. That really irritated me and at times I tuned out of the film altogether. But as the movie progressed, it got better(how it got better is a surprise).
I really did love this movie and I’m giving it a NUCLEAR. It had the perfect mix of love, comedy, action, and adventure. It literally had me at the edge of my seat.
